Situated in the heart of Westerleigh village, The New Inn is a friendly, welcoming pub that serves the community.
A rural village, Westerleigh is surrounded by luscious green land, making it the perfect place for a country escape. Our pub is situated just off the green, just within reach of the Bristol to Bath cycle path. This is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists to take a break mid-trek, and with our dog-friendly policy, all are welcome.
Open every day from midday till 11 pm, The New Inn offers home-cooked food throughout the day. Our lunchtime menu includes meal deals and light bites, and in the evening, we serve heartier, more filling meals.
On Sundays, you can join us for a traditional Sunday lunch, and enjoy some of the freshest produce from the local area. We suggest pre-booking for Sunday dinner as it is one of our busiest times of the week.
During the summer months, we make full use of our beautiful beer garden which not only provides extra seating but also has the perfect ambience for you to soak up the sun.
Whether you’d like a mid-walk break, a gorgeous home-cooked Sunday dinner, or just fancy popping in for a pint and a friendly chat, The New Inn is open to everyone, seven days a week.

Private Function Rooms
At The New Inn, we have two private function rooms which you can hire for events. From wakes to birthday celebrations to work parties we have all the facilities you need to relax and enjoy your time at The New Inn.
Our main room can hold up to 75 people. With access to a log burner and direct access to the outdoor patio, this room can be enjoyed all year round. Our second room is slightly smaller and can hold up to 40 people.
Each function room comes with its own bar facilities, and for larger parties, we are able to offer access to both rooms.
When booking our function rooms for private events, we offer a set buffet menu which can be easily adapted to cater for any dietary or individual needs. At The New Inn, we aim to take away as much stress as possible from you when organising a large-scale event, and we’re always on hand to answer any questions and assist in any way possible.
Like our main pub area, both function rooms are fitted with a TV that has both Sky Sports and BT Sports, which shows all the up-to-date fixtures. The TV is available to turn on and off on request.
